Jérémie Tenot is a partner of Bonnard Lawson International Law Firm in the banking and finance group.
Jérémie advises Swiss and international financial institutions, corporations and individuals on their transactions, contracts, business and regulatory matters, whether domestic or cross-border.
His practice covers a broad range of specialized services, in particular:

Jérémie is also regularly involved in corporate, commercial and M&A transactions, assisting entrepreneurs, shareholders, investors and private equity firms on their projects, commercial contracts and setting-up of new companies.
He has further developed a strong expertise in the commodities trading and shipping sectors, advising energy and commodities firms and shipping companies on regulatory issues, financing transactions, commercial and hedging operations as well as sanctions matters.
Jérémie finally offers legal outsourcing services to financial institutions and corporations wishing to outsource all or part of their legal operations.
Experience
- Advising banks and borrowers on and coordinating complex cross-border financing transactions, including business aviation, yacht and ship finance, luxury real estate finance (incl. in Dubai, Miami, London and Greece), artworks secured finance, margin loans, project and corporate finance
- Acting as Swiss counsel to major Swiss and international companies, international financial institutions, sponsors and private equity funds in relation to debt refinancings’ operations, acquisition’s projects and securitization transactions
- Assisting financial institutions, such as wealth managers, collective wealth managers, trustees and FinTech, on regulatory and contractual matters, including in their proceedings and licensing process with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA)
- Advising international and Swiss companies, financial institutions, financial intermediaries and insurance companies on the implementation of new regulations (incl. FinSA/FinIA; LIBOR’s cessation; ESG guidelines; GDPR and nFADP), the development of new services and products, from both a regulatory and contractual perspective
- Assisting financial institutions, crypto companies and corporations with blockchain projects, including in connection with the issuance of tokens, ICOs, tokenization of assets, the custody of digital assets, and regulatory approvals from FINMA (incl. no-action letters)
- Advising financial institutions and corporations with mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition or sale of client portfolios and the acquisition of asset managers
- Assisting corporations on corporate law and corporate governance matters
