Managing Partner at Bonnard Lawson (France), Jean-Philippe MABRU is an expert in international estate and tax planning practicing in multiple jurisdictions in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. He is also recognized as one of France’s leading specialists in trust law and taxation.

For more than three decades, he has advised numerous families in France and abroad with their transnational personal and estate transactions, wealth planning as well as with the settlement of international successions, particularly in the French-American context, and with the complex issues of transferring and structuring art collections.

His main activities focus on Trust and Estate law and Wealth planning, International Wealth and Tax Planning and Wealth Structuring, International Estate Planning and Settlement, Real Estate Investments in France, Trusts and Public and Private Foundations, as well as Art Law.

He is also Professor of Comparative Law, International Tax Law and International Wealth Management Strategies at ESCP Business School (Paris), the world’s oldest business school, Academic Director of the Masters (initial and executive training) in “International Wealth Management” (www.escpeurope.eu).

Additionally, he is Deputy Editor-in-Chief for France of the Revue Internationale du Patrimoine (Editions Legitech- Luxembourg).
